Overview
In this role you will empower Wise to manage compliance and risk through data by building robust data pipelines and monitoring systems. You will partner with security and control owners to translate requirements into measurable metrics and dashboards, enabling data-driven improvement across compliance. You’ll work on pipelines and analytics that support continuous control monitoring at scale, contributing to a secure and compliant Wise. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role with a strong emphasis on impact and experimentation in data analytics.
Responsibilities- Build, optimise, and maintain data pipelines using Python, REST APIs, DBT, and Airflow for compliance and risk data flow
- Collaborate with control owners to translate compliance requirements into concrete metrics, SLAs, and dashboards for continuous monitoring
- Define KPIs for monitoring IT system compliance and risk, ensuring data accuracy and relevance
- Identify opportunities to improve compliance processes and reduce risk through data-driven insights
- Work with cross-functional teams to drive data-based decisions and inform security and governance practices
- Proficiency in Python and experience in automation and data pipelines
- Strong experience with DBT and Airflow for ETL processes
- REST API integration development and data management
- SQL proficiency and experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Superset, PowerBI, Tableau)
- Familiarity with security frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST) and CCM is a plus
