Overview
In this role you lead and contribute as a software engineer within a well-funded FinTech, guiding a talented team while staying close to architecture and delivery. You’ll shape engineering standards, mentor engineers, and tackle complex technical challenges on a modern Python platform. You’ll collaborate with Product, Engineering and business stakeholders to steer technical direction and deliver new capabilities that support critical financial services. - Experienced Python Developer with strong software engineering practices and full SDLC experience
- Team leadership experience including mentoring, 1-2-1s and performance reviews
- Knowledge of cloud services (GCP preferred; AWS/Azure acceptable)
- Experience building APIs, ideally FastAPI
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, testing and deployment
- Solid CS fundamentals (OOP, data structures, design patterns, algorithms)
- Collaborative, pragmatic communicator
- STEM degree with 2.1 or above
