About the Job: We are seeking a Lead QA AutomationEngineer to drive the quality strategy, design scalable automationframeworks, and lead a high-performing QA team. In this role, you will workclosely with cross-functional teams—including Engineering, Product, andDevOps—to ensure high-quality delivery across modern web, API, and enterpriseapplications.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days/week in office)

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead QA strategy, planning, and execution acrossmultiple projects and teams
  
• Design, develop, and scale robust automationframeworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing
  
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship toQA engineers, fostering best practices and continuous improvement
  
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, andDevOps to ensure testability and quality throughout the SDLC
  
• Drive end-to-end automation, including buildingframeworks from scratch where required
  
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelinesto enable continuous testing and faster releases
  
• Oversee test planning, test case design,execution, and defect management
  
• Ensure comprehensive coverage across functional,regression, integration (SIT), and UAT testing
  
• Work closely with release management anddeployment teams to support smooth product releases
  
• Establish QA standards, documentation, testarchitecture, and governance practices
  
• Analyze quality metrics and provide insights tostakeholders for continuous improvement
  
• Act as a key escalation point for quality risks,defects, and production issues
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of software testing experience withinAgile development teams
  
• 7+ years of strong hands-on test automationexperience
  
• Proven experience leading QA teams or acting ina Lead capacity
  
• Expertise in automation tools such as Selenium,WebdriverIO, REST Assured, Postman, or similar
  
• Demonstrated experience building automationframeworks from scratch
  
• Hands-on experience with BDD/TDD frameworks (Cucumber, Cypress, Playwright, Webdriver.io, TestNG, etc.)
  
• Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
  
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies andtesting types (UI, API, Functional, Regression, SIT, UAT)
  
• Experience with defect tracking and testmanagement tools (JIRA, etc.)
  
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management,and leadership skills
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP web testing
  
• Exposure to performance testing and securitytesting practices
  
• Experience in Agile Release Train environments(SAFe) or large-scale delivery programs
  

Salary Range: $100,000 to $110,000 CAD/ year

The final compensation offered will depend on local marketconditions and geographic location, as well as job-related factors such as thecandidate’s knowledge, skills, qualifications, relevant experience, andeducation/training. Compensation may also include additional components such asbenefits, and/or other incentives, where applicable.
