Overview
In this London-based role you lead test automation for a global financial data platform modernization. You’ll align automation delivery with quality goals and business priorities, working with cross-functional teams to improve repeatable automated evidence and reduce manual regression. You’ll shape testing strategy across functional and non-functional areas and drive continuous improvement. This is an impact-focused leadership position within a real-time data distribution project.
Responsibilities- Set testing strategy and plans covering automation, performance, test data, and environments
- Lead functional, non-functional, and end-to-end integration testing
- Define automation goals and drive their implementation
- Apply QA best practices across the product lifecycle from define to build
- Understand business use cases and ensure high-quality delivered solutions
- Analyze requirements and design test scenarios
- Perform functional and non-functional testing
- Resolve testing-related technical issues
- Drive continuous quality improvements and report status to stakeholders
- 8+ years of software testing experience
- Strong Python expertise for test automation
- Hands-on in creating and implementing test strategies/plans including automation and performance
- RESTful API testing and complex integrations with real-time processing (JSON, XML, HTTP, API authentication)
- In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies and agile testing
- Good communication and influence skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of SDLC, CI/CD and Git
- Experience with Jira, Confluence and TestRail
