Responsibilities

  • Design and build flows, subflows and custom flow actions in Flow Designer, including script steps with well-defined inputs, outputs and error handling.

  • Implement form behavior using UI policies and client scripts (onLoad, onChange, onSubmit, onCellEdit).
  • Build and configure integrations using IntegrationHub spokes, REST steps and custom actions, and configure scheduled flows and jobs that are monitored and recoverable on failure.
  • Set up data sources including SFTP-based file retrieval (CSV/Excel), import set tables and transform maps with field maps, coalesce logic and transform scripts.
  • Deliver platform customizations such as tables, fields, business rules, catalog items and variables while keeping instances upgrade-safe.
  • Write unit tests and ATF test cases, add meaningful logging, and debug using flow execution details, system logs and the script debugger.
  • Manage update sets and application repositories, take part in peer code reviews, support promotion across Dev, Test and Production, support UAT and defect resolution, and join sprint ceremonies.

Requirements

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD) certifications.
  • Lead-level technical consulting experience with ServiceNow Platform, plus hands-on experience with ITAM and Hardware Asset Management.
  • Expertise in Flow Designer: flows, subflows, custom actions, script steps, flow logic and error handling.
  • Strong JavaScript and ServiceNow API skills (GlideRecord, GlideAjax, GlideDateTime, g_form), script includes, UI policies and client scripts.
  • IntegrationHub experience: spokes, REST/SOAP steps, connection and credential aliases, and MID Server basics.
  • Experience with data sources, import sets and transform maps (including SFTP data source configuration), decision tables, ATF and platform customization.
  • Strong understanding of the full Service Catalog and Request Fulfillment lifecycle, HAM processes, stock management and procurement workflows.
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party procurement applications.
  • Strong English communication skills, with the ability to establish relationships with customers, provide technical updates and drive clarity; attendance at customer and internal meetings with camera on is mandatory.
  • Located on US or Canada soil, able to deliver on quick turnarounds and work across distributed teams and time zones.
