In this role you will provide technical guidance and hands-on leadership in designing and developing software with C#. You will ensure coding, testing, and maintenance best practices while staying current with C# developments. You will build and optimize complex applications, document solutions, and collaborate with teammates to integrate systems. This role supports the company's mission to enable progress through collaboration, expertise, and innovation. You will work on impactful problems that drive scalable insurance software and AI-enabled capabilities.
Responsibilities- Design, code, test, debug, and document complex software applications and systems
- Provide technical guidance and leadership in C# design and development
- Optimize and refactor existing code for performance and maintainability
- Collaborate with team members to integrate systems and solutions
- Stay updated with latest C# and related technologies
- Ensure application of best practices in coding, testing, and maintenance
- Proficiency in C#
- Experience with TDD/BDD/DDD
- Ability to discuss architectural patterns and trade-offs
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with GitHub or modern source control
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
- Desirable: Event Sourcing, OpenAI AI platform
