Lead Software Developer C# - Finance

In this Lead Software Developer role, you guide the architecture and delivery of core backend systems in a growing fintech, balancing hands-on coding with team leadership. You’ll design APIs and microservices, ensure secure, reliable environments, and shape the product roadmap through technical insight. You collaborate cross-functionally to translate requirements into scalable solutions, mentoring teammates and driving high-quality software. • Design and implement core application logic
• Build APIs and microservices for data processing, business rules, and integrations
• Oversee secure, reliable server environments and deployment configurations
• Gather requirements with internal teams and customers through workshops
• Shape product vision and roadmap with technical feasibility input
• Remain hands-on with architecture and design
• Conduct code reviews, mentor the team, and remove blockers
• Collaborate to deliver high-quality software across the full SDLC

• Experience in a similar finance/trading/hedge fund environment
• Strong C# .Net Core expertise
• Leadership skills: 1-2-1s, mentoring, project leadership
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle
• Understanding of OOP, data structures, design patterns, algorithms
• Problem-solving mindset and collaboration in distributed systems
• Python skills beneficial; other OO languages (C++, Java) considered
