- Understand business drivers and translate them into software solutions
- Design, architecture, and development of applications spanning the Research Process
- Work on distributed, API-driven systems processing massive data with high transaction volumes
- Collaborate with QA to ensure high-quality software
- Partner with product launch and DevOps to resolve operational issues
- Deliver products that meet specs, are defect-free, and performant
- Mentor other developers
- 5+ years of .NET development (C#) with cross-platform communication like Web API
- 3+ years with SQL Server, SQL queries, data cleansing/enrichment, and ETL/data pipelines
- Proven track record launching products leveraging terabytes of data
- Ability to analyze requirements and design architectures, data models, and ETL strategies
- Database design expertise, T-SQL programming, performance tuning, index analysis
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based relational and non-relational databases
- Facilitate team discussions and introduce innovative technologies
- Experience with .NET Core, Python, Jupyter, Notebook, AWS and NoSQL databases
- Experience with Databricks and Lakehouse architecture
