Hours of work: Up to 40 hours per week

- We are looking for enthusiastic & experienced engineers to join our existing Energy team to perform all aspects software design, development and implementation for DCS or PLC/SCADA based control systems
- You will lead the team through all aspects of a project lifecycle. Candidates must demonstrate strong technical leadership and proven experience with PCS7/Neo and at least one other technology.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience using Siemens PCS7/Neo Automation Stations and OS including:
- Advanced Process Library (APL)
- Control Module Types (CMT)
- Sequential Function Charts (SFC)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience using at least one of the following additional controller technologies:
- Rockwell ControlLogix/CompactLogix utilising Studio 5000
- Minimum 5 years’ experience using at least one of the following additional SCADA applications:
- Rockwell FactoryTalk View SE
- ArchestrA System Platford
- Other equivalent SCADA package
- Minimum 5 years’ experience of the following:
- Producing Function Design Specifications, System/Detailed Design Specifications and Test Specifications
- Writing software to IEC61131 utilising ladder, function block diagram, sequential function chart and structured text.
- Performing Internal and Customer Factory Acceptance Tests
- Technical Checking & Reviewing of Engineering produced by others.
- Demonstrated ability to Support the development of less experienced team members through coaching and knowledge sharing.
- Knowledge of project lifecycle working to QA procedures
