Overview

In this role you design, build, and sustain scalable Java backend services and microservices in a cloud-native AWS environment. You work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, secure APIs and systems, shaping scalable solutions that align with product goals. You implement modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, and contribute to code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support. This position offers the chance to impact architecture and delivery at scale within an Agile context.

Responsibilities
  • design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices
  • build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
  • develop cloud-native applications deployed on AWS
  • integrate databases, third-party APIs, and messaging systems
  • optimize performance, scalability, and security of applications
  • implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments
  • collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, and product stakeholders
  • participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support
  • follow Agile/Scrum practices and best practices
Key requirements
  • 8–12 years of experience in backend development
  • Java 8/11/17/21 with strong Spring Boot expertise
  • Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate/JPA
  • microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
  • AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS/EKS, API Gateway)
  • SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
  • Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Maven, Git)
  • Kafka or RabbitMQ
