Overview

In this role you will lead software efforts to build internal tools and customer-facing products that streamline the customer journey. You will work within the Systems Engineering team to shape project requirements and deliver via agile practices, setting technical direction and writing clean, production-grade code. You’ll collaborate with the Head of Systems Engineering to drive cloud-native development across web, microservices, and APIs. This is an opportunity to shape tooling and platform decisions in a cutting-edge tech environment.

Responsibilities
  • Define and scope project requirements with the Head of Systems Engineering
  • Lead the team and guide technical direction in an agile environment
  • Develop and maintain internal tools and customer-facing products
  • Write clean, industry-best-practice code for cloud-native systems
  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams to support the product lifecycle
  • Work hands-on with Golang, Python, JavaScript and modern infra (Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS)
Key requirements
  • Experience with web development, microservices and APIs
  • Proven leadership or senior contributor experience in software teams
  • Comfort with agile methodologies and task decomposition
  • Hands-on coding across a full product lifecycle
  • Familiarity with cloud-native development and associated tooling
