In this Vice President role, you will lead the Exchange Connectivity development team that builds and maintains access to trading venues, liquidity sources and order routing systems. You will guide multi‑disciplinary collaboration across technology and product teams to deliver robust, low‑latency solutions for securitized instruments. You’ll drive modernization efforts and tool adoption to accelerate code migration, testing, and production efficiency. This is a high‑impact position at scale, shaping how the firm connects to global markets.
Responsibilities- Communicate with product leads to identify improvements to technology solutions
- Develop order routers as part of a global development team for new markets or upgrades
- Participate in full project lifecycle from requirements to deployment and support
- Design/develop products to add value to services
- Perform exchange certification, regression testing, and configure/deploy applications (occasional weekend work)
- Support existing production infrastructure and contribute to modernization of the Exchange Connectivity platform
- Enhance systems to meet new requirements and apply break-fixes to Order Router software
- Serve as L3 support when needed
- 6+ years of relevant experience
- Strong C++ expertise with OO principles, design patterns and threading
- Experience in low-latency/high-performance systems
- Unix/Linux environment experience
- Distributed service-based architecture experience
- Subject matter expertise in exchange-specific protocols and production operations
- Knowledge of certification processes and regulatory requirements
