The role requirements

  • A blend of hands-on engineering, mentoring and architectural decision making
  • Setting the technical direction for your squad and helping them to make sound engineering decisions
  • 1:1s, technical reviews, developing your team’s confidence and capability
  • Working with Product and Data teams, reporting into a Head of Engineering
  • You’ll be mindful of delivery performance, scalability, reliability and security
  • Seeking ways to reduce cycle times, improve deployment frequency and maintain code quality
  • Bringing curiosity and innovation!

Process (all handled remotely):

1) 30 minute conversation directly with the Head of Engineering

2) Take-home tech task (yes you can use AI... and it's encouraged)

3) Main interview with the squad and Head of Engineering
