Overview

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at IFS, you will shape scalable cloud-based Industrial AI solutions that drive decarbonization insights. You’ll lead design and implementation of APIs and accessible UIs, influencing architecture and product impact. Your work spans front-end and back-end across multiple languages, advancing secure, observable, high-quality software. You’ll collaborate across Product, Design, and Platform teams to turn customer pain points into elegant, scalable engineering solutions. Responsibilities
  • Lead design, architecture, and implementation of scalable APIs, services, and accessible user interfaces
  • Modernize legacy systems into modular, event-driven, API-first components
  • Deliver AI-native features across front-end and back-end using multiple languages
  • Provide technical direction and trade-offs on scalability, maintainability, performance, and product impact
  • Own reliability and operational excellence including telemetry, SLOs, incident response, and continuous improvement
  • Champion DevOps practices: CI/CD, deployment automation, monitoring, and app-level operations
  • Collaborate with Platform Engineers in a lean DevOps model while owning app-level DevOps
  • Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices
  • Champion code quality, automated testing, and maintainability
  • Ensure production readiness and test automation; partner with Product Management, Design, AI, Platform Engineering on discovery and delivery
  • Adopt a customer- and product-led mindset to solve pain points with scalable engineering solutions
  • Identify risks and bottlenecks to improve platform architecture and ways of working
Key requirements
  • Strong experience in full stack software engineering across front-end and back-end
  • Solid experience with React or similar front-end frameworks
  • Strong back-end experience, ideally including GoLang or similar languages
  • Experience designing scalable APIs and cloud-native apps
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices including CI/CD, monitoring, and incident response
  • Experience delivering secure, observable, high-quality production software
  • Focus on code quality, automated testing, documentation, performance, and maintainability
  • Ability to lead technical design discussions and influence architecture
  • Effective collaboration across Product, Design, Platform, and Engineering teams
