Overview
In this Lead Software Engineer role, you will architect, design and deliver features for a flagship desktop insurance platform at a global fintech. You will guide three Agile teams to build scalable, secure, and maintainable software that handles very high request volumes. Collaborating with Product Owners and other teams, you’ll own technical decisions and drive continual improvement. This role blends hands-on coding with architectural leadership and cross-functional collaboration for a meaningful fintech impact.

- Architect, design and develop new features for a flagship desktop platform
- Ensure security, reliability, maintainability, usability and performance
- Provide technical ownership within an Agile environment
- Collaborate with Product Owner and other teams on design and technical choices
- Lead and coordinate three Agile teams (approximately ten engineers)
- C# .Net Core backend development on large, scalable systems
- Strong technical leadership with feature ownership
- Collaborative yet capable of influencing senior engineers
- Advocate for clean, reusable, maintainable code and best practices
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture
- Understanding of CS fundamentals (OOP, data structures, design patterns, algorithms)
- Knowledge of CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Appreciation of Azure, SaaS, PaaS, and microservices
- Degree in a relevant STEM discipline (preferred)
