Overview

As Lead Software Engineer at JPMorganChase within Neovest, you contribute to building trusted, scalable market-leading tech in a secure environment. You will be a core technical contributor, shaping solutions across multiple areas to support the firm’s business objectives. You drive secure, production-grade software and guide AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality and delivery speed. You collaborate with cross-functional teams and external/ internal partners to evaluate architectures and propagate best practices. This role offers impact on core platforms in a fast-paced, governance-conscious setting.

Responsibilities
  • Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews others’ code
  • Identifies opportunities to automate remediation and improve operational stability
  • Leads adoption of enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices (code review, test strategy, incident analysis)
  • Applies SDLC tools and AI-assisted automation to enhance value delivery
  • Leads evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams on architecture and applicability
  • Leads communities of practice to promote new technologies and practices
  • Contributes to team culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect
Key requirements
  • Hands-on software development experience
  • Ability to leverage AI as a code assistant
  • Advanced knowledge/experience with C#/.Net
  • Advanced knowledge of multi-threaded applications
  • Experience leading use of AI-assisted development tools (coding, review, test acceleration, troubleshooting)
  • Strong understanding of responsible AI in engineering workflows (data sensitivity, secure handling, resiliency, security)
  • Advanced proficiency in React, JavaScript, TypeScript and testing frameworks
  • Understanding of agile methods (CI/CD, application resiliency, security)
  • In-depth knowledge of markets and trading IT systems
  • Practical cloud-native experience
