Overview

As Lead Software Engineer (DevSecOps), you will drive hands-on delivery of automated, secure, and reliable software delivery capabilities across product teams. You will lead a DevSecOps and platform automation initiative, transforming strategy into production-grade solutions and guiding engineers toward secure, scalable practices. You’ll partner with product, architecture, and security to embed best practices and reduce delivery friction. The role blends hands-on engineering with technical leadership to accelerate safe, frequent software release at scale. You will operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment focused on secure by-default pipelines and platform excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Build and improve automated CI/CD pipelines for microservices, APIs, and platform services
  • Develop and evolve reusable, secure templates and blueprints with self-service adoption
  • Implement progressive delivery (blue-green, canary, feature flags) and optimize pipeline performance
  • Onboard teams onto standard pipelines and platform blueprints
  • Implement and tune embedded security controls (SAST, DAST, SCA) and SBOM generation
  • Establish secure software supply chain practices (provenance, signing, governance, secrets management)
  • Automate environment provisioning via IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep); support multi-tenant and regulated workloads
  • Integrate observability (metrics, logs, traces) and deployment health checks; support DR automation and recovery testing
  • Lead, mentor, and review code/designs for pipelines, IaC, and automation; create runbooks and golden-path guidance
Key requirements
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience with at least 4 years in DevSecOps, CI/CD, and platform automation
  • Proven experience building/operating automated delivery pipelines in production
  • Experience leading or acting as technical lead for a small team or workstream
  • Solid understanding of software supply chain security principles
