Lead Software Engineer - Go / Kubernetes / Python - Public Cloud Engineering

As Lead Software Engineer in Public Cloud Engineering, you will steer architecture direction and system-level design for platform services, ensuring reliability and secure delivery. You collaborate across component teams to accelerate cloud platforms and leverage AI tooling to speed engineering work. You’ll mentor, drive engineering excellence, and foster an inclusive, high-performing culture. This role offers impact at scale by shaping platform quality and developer experience in a fintech environment.

• Contribute to design and implementation of platform services and infrastructure with focus on architecture, integration patterns, and reliability
• Write, review, and maintain production code across stacks, including AI-assisted contributions, ensuring standards are met
• Identify opportunities to automate remediation to improve operational stability
• Lead design reviews and architecture discussions, evaluate new tools and frameworks to improve developer experience and platform quality
• Lead communities of practice across Software Engineering to promote awareness of new technologies
• Foster a culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

• Proficiency in at least one core language/framework (Java, Spring, Go, Python, Terraform, Kubernetes)
• Willingness to engage with AI tooling in workflow
• Hands-on cloud-native experience on scale in AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
• Advanced understanding of Agile methodologies including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
