Lead Software Engineer- Infrastructure / Linux

In this Lead Software Engineer role within Corporate Technology, you shape trusted, scalable technology products and drive secure, reliable systems. You’ll tackle cross-functional engineering challenges, contribute hands-on expertise, and raise standards for quality and automation in an agile team. You’ll work to deliver impactful solutions that support the firm’s objectives, leveraging modern tooling and responsible AI practices. This is a chance to lead technical decisions that combine security, performance, and rapid delivery.

• Design, develop and troubleshoot software solutions including Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Develop secure, high-quality infrastructure patterns in Red Hat Linux environments
• Promote enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed
• Apply SDLC tooling to enhance automation and value realization
• Identify and automate remediation to improve operational stability across applications and systems
• Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams for architectural fit and credentials

• Hands-on experience delivering infrastructure and system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages
• Ability to lead effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools with validation for correctness, performance, and security
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows including data sensitivity and secure handling
• Proficiency across all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Advanced understanding of agile engineering practices including CI/CD, application resiliency, Infrastructure as Code, and security
• Strong practical experience implementing and supporting Red Hat Linux environments
