Lead Software Engineer in Cash Asset Management, contributing as a core technical member of an agile team delivering trusted, scalable technology products. You will design, develop, and troubleshoot software with a focus on security and production quality. You’ll drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery, while upholding robust validation and secure coding standards. You will collaborate across functions to enhance operational stability and guide architectural discussions with external and internal partners. This role offers the chance to shape critical financial technology in a large, global institution.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and troubleshoot software solutions beyond routine approaches
- Develop secure, production-grade code and review peers’ work
- Lead enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality, speed, and reliability with standardized validation
- Leverage the SDLC toolchain and AI-enabled development to enhance automation and value
- Identify and automate remediation opportunities to boost software stability
- Lead architectural evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts
- Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages
- Experience leading use of enterprise AI-assisted development tools with ability to set team expectations for AI outputs
- Strong understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, security, and resiliency
- Proficiency across all SDLC aspects
- Advanced understanding of agile practices including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Knowledge of the financial services IT landscape
