Overview

In this role you lead designing and delivering robust software that powers enterprise platforms at scale. You’ll architecture and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS, drive CI/CD maturity, and promote AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality and delivery. You collaborate with product, architecture, and business teams to translate requirements into solid technical solutions while mentoring engineers. This position offers impact across critical systems and emphasizes innovation, reliability, and performance.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop Java-based applications for complex enterprise needs across domains
  • Lead architecture and implementation of AWS-based, cloud-native solutions with high availability and security
  • Advance CI/CD adoption and reliability of software delivery
  • Promote enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices (code review/refactoring, testing, incident analysis) and standardize validation
  • Leverage SDLC tools and automation to maximize automation value
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and establish engineering best practices
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers to foster learning and ownership
Key requirements
  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and advanced applied experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Java with production-grade, large-scale applications
  • Hands-on experience designing and deploying AWS cloud-native solutions (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, EKS)
  • Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong understanding of design patterns, distributed systems, and microservices
  • Proven ability to lead technical discussions and align engineering teams
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise AI-assisted development tools and evaluating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and resiliency and security requirements
