Lead Software Engineer - Java, AWS, Databricks

• Execute innovative software solutions and tackle complex problems beyond routine approaches
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review others’ code
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices with validation standards and automated testing
• Utilize SDLC tools and AI-assisted development to improve automation and delivery
• Identify opportunities to automate recurring issues for operational stability
• Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams on architecture and applicability

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with advanced hands-on experience
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, development, testing, and operational stability
• Advanced in one or more programming languages, preferably Java
• Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools with ability to evaluate outputs for correctness, performance, and security
• Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, and security requirements; guide peers on safe usage
• Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
• Practical cloud native experience
• In-depth knowledge of the financial services IT landscape
