Overview

As a Software Engineering Leader in Asset & Wealth Management Risk Technology, you will steer the design and evolution of a critical risk analytics and reporting platform used by Risk managers and senior leaders. You’ll partner with Product, Risk, Data, Architecture, and Engineering to deliver secure, scalable solutions that enhance risk oversight and decision making. You will shape AI-powered capabilities to boost analytics and productivity while upholding governance and controls. You’ll lead technical strategy, drive reliability and observability, and mentor multiple teams across the enterprise.

Responsibilities
  • Define and govern the platform's technical strategy, architecture and roadmap for a large-scale risk analytics and reporting system
  • Lead evolution of front-end architecture including micro-frontend strategies and domain-driven UI design
  • Establish UI architecture standards, design systems, extensibility frameworks and frontend best practices
  • Collaborate with Risk, Product and Data stakeholders to translate priorities into scalable tech solutions
  • Drive platform reliability, observability and continuous improvement across the stack
  • Oversee integration across multiple internal platforms, services and data sources
  • Evaluate and implement AI, ML and generative AI capabilities to improve analytics and automation
  • Ensure solutions meet security, governance, resiliency and compliance requirements
Key requirements
  • Formal training or certification in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java and modern application development frameworks
  • Deep experience with ReactJS or similar technologies, including micro-frontend architectures and component-based design systems
  • Experience with high-volume data processing, analytics or reporting platforms
  • Proven track record delivering large-scale distributed applications in complex enterprise environments
  • Strong knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, system integration and API development
  • Extensive experience with AWS, containers and cloud-native architectures
  • Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, resiliency and operational excellence
  • Experience leading technical delivery across multiple teams and stakeholders
