Lead Software Engineer - Java, React, AI

• Design and deliver scalable full-stack solutions using Java and Angular with strong UI quality
• Define engineering standards, reusable templates, and shared components to improve consistency and speed
• Architect microservices-based solutions for enterprise-scale environments
• Collaborate with UX designers and product owners to prototype and align with roadmaps
• Promote modern SDLC practices including CI/CD, clear versioning, and automated testing
• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and ownership
• Influence architecture decisions and guide cross-functional technical discussions
• Manage competing priorities and deliver predictable outcomes in a fast-paced setting
• Communicate delivery status, risks, and technical decisions to stakeholders
• Drive adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices for code quality and delivery speed
• Apply SDLC tools and AI-assisted development and automation capabilities to improve automation value

• Expert-level proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Strong hands-on Java development (Java 8+) in enterprise environments
• Strong hands-on Angular (6+) with component-based architecture and state management
• Deep understanding of microservices patterns for large-scale systems
• Proven ability to set engineering standards and reusable templates/components
• Mentoring experience and collaboration with distributed, cross-functional teams
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and branching strategies
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted software development tools and evaluating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security
• Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and resiliency and security expectations
