In this role you guide a small, high-performing development team to deliver real-time sports betting software. You balance hands-on architecture with people leadership, collaborating closely with the Product Owner to ensure high-quality delivery. You’ll foster engineering excellence and continuous improvement while creating a developer-friendly environment that enables focus and innovation. This is a hands-on leadership role at a global games software house with growth and learning opportunities.

- Balance hands-on architecture and coding with people management
- Collaborate with Product Owner to drive backlog delivery
- Oversee full delivery lifecycle to high standards

- Strong backend software engineering experience
- Strong Java and Spring Boot development experience
- Technical and team leadership, mentoring and coaching experience
- Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Knowledge of CS fundamentals (OOP, multithreading, design patterns, data structures)
- Comfort with agentic AI coding
