Tact in Manchester City Centre is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to own architecture while remaining hands-on. You’ll lead and mentor a small full-stack team of 2–3 engineers, focusing on backend with Node.js and TypeScript, AWS, APIs, and real-time apps.

You’ll shape technical decisions, work two days a week from the Manchester office and the rest remotely, and explore AI-assisted development as a tool rather than a crutch. Start date is flexible; two-stage interview.
