Overview

In this role you lead engineering teams to deliver high-quality, scalable software that delights users worldwide. You’ll guide technical decisions in a fast-paced environment and coach junior engineers to grow. You’ll interact with customers and provide direction, mentoring colleagues along the way. The position combines hands-on development with leadership to drive impactful outcomes and continuous learning.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and coach a small team to deliver modern software solutions
  • Drive design, testing, and maintenance of scalable, secure applications
  • Provide technical direction and architecture for projects
  • Own product/solution ownership including estimation, planning, and requirements creation
  • Collaborate with customers and share knowledge across the team
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to career development
  • Adopt and promote modern software practices (XP, TDD) and CI/CD
Key requirements
  • Experience with AWS, Node.js/JavaScript frameworks, TypeScript, Terraform, and AWS CDK
  • Expertise in building and maintaining modern software applications
  • Technical leadership of teams, with ownership of architecture, planning, and delivery
  • Proven ability to design across all application layers
  • Track record of coaching and developing junior engineers
  • Experience with CI/CD practices and modern delivery techniques
  • Good communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
