• Execute creative software solutions and design, develop, and troubleshoot complex systems
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review others’ code
• Lead adoption of enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices for code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes
• Leverage SDLC tools and automation to enhance value and consistency
• Identify opportunities to automate recurring issues to improve stability
• Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams for architectural alignment

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and advanced applied experience
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Advanced Python programming
• Experience leading use of AI-assisted software development tools with validation of AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, data handling, and security expectations
• Proficiency in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
• In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry IT systems
• Practical cloud-native experience
