Overview

In this hands-on technical lead role, you design and implement core systems for a source code intelligence platform, driving AI-enabled code search and analysis at scale. You will lead a small team, write code daily in JVM and systems languages, and shape technical direction for secure, regulated software development. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions and foster an innovative engineering culture. This role offers impact at scale by applying AI to modernize SDLC and code governance.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of backend systems using Python or Java
  • Build and enhance distributed indexing and search infrastructure for source code intelligence
  • Develop multi-language semantic and AST analysis capabilities
  • Create interfaces for AI agents to query and validate code
  • Apply AI techniques to enable large-scale code search, vulnerability discovery, and SDLC automation
  • Streamline engineering processes to improve productivity and quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, including Claude AI capabilities
  • Drive continuous improvement in development workflows and foster an inclusive and innovative team culture
Key requirements
  • Proficiency in Python or Java for backend development
