Overview

As a Lead Software Engineer in the Technology Solutions team, you guide a engineers toward technical excellence while delivering scalable platforms. You collaborate with cross-functional partners to shape and deliver strategies that align with firm standards and delivery goals. You balance hands-on development with mentorship and strategic thinking to drive continuous improvement. You lead adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality, speed, and operational outcomes, within the ServiceNow domain and broader SDLC. This role combines technical depth with leadership to tackle high-impact initiatives at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Provide oversight and coaching to a team of engineers on tasks from basic to moderately complex, fostering accountability and growth
  • Influence team execution decisions and ensure alignment with firm-wide standards and delivery goals
  • Collaborate with business analysis to produce estimates and agile delivery plans, aligning priorities with stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate delivery risks across the work portfolio, escalating issues as needed
  • Design, code, test, and deliver software on the ServiceNow platform following firm frameworks and best practices
  • Champion and improve scrum practices to enhance team processes and delivery cadence
  • Drive adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes with consistent validation standards
  • Apply SDLC tools and enterprise automation capabilities to increase the value of automation
Key requirements
  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and advanced applied experience
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools with ability to evaluate AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security
  • Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows with secure data handling and resiliency considerations
  • Proven experience as a ServiceNow architect or team lead translating business requirements into scalable solutions
  • Active ServiceNow certifications: CSA, CAD, CIS-ITSM
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and ITIL practices
  • Deep knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, data and security models, and integration patterns
  • Experience leading technologists, driving strategic initiatives, and mentoring talent
