Overview

In this Senior Lead Solution Architect role, you design and assess enterprise-scale architectures spanning functional, information, and technical dimensions to support Securities Services platforms. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are realized as secure, robust solutions aligned with firm-wide patterns and governance. Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to articulate and realize business requirements as secure, robust solutions
• Design and assess end-to-end architectures for enterprise-scale platforms, including data modeling and data management
• Apply AI techniques to accelerate requirements analysis, pattern identification, and architecture documentation
• Ensure conformance with firm-wide, CIB, and sub-LOB architecture patterns and participate in governance
• Lead evaluation sessions to assess architectural designs and technical credentials with internal and external teams
• Identify opportunities to automate remediation and improve operational stability and solution quality
• Advocate for Solution Architecture across business and technology through presentations, workshops, and agile forums
• Leverage authorized AI capabilities with human-in-the-loop validation and data sensitivity awareness
• Establish reuse-first AI-enabled engineering patterns and governance across SDLC/toolchain practices

• Formal training or certification on software engineering or architecture concepts
• Hands-on Solution Architecture experience in enterprise-sized applications across functional, information, and technical dimensions
• Strong knowledge of data modeling and meta-modeling (e.g., UML) or tools like ERwin, Power Designer, or MagicDraw
• Knowledge of data architecture options (ODS, Data Lake, Data Catalog, Data Warehousing, OLTP, OLAP) and treating data as an asset
• Proficiency in AI/ML applied to architecture or software engineering
• Hands-on experience with object-oriented development (Java, Python, or C++), data formats (XML, JSON), and DBMS (SQL, Oracle, Cassandra, cloud offerings)
• Very strong knowledge of Financial Services domain (Trading Middle Office, Prime Brokerage, Custody, Fund Accounting, Securities/Derivatives)
• Experience with lean/agile development, CI/CD
• Exceptional communication and facilitation skills across business and technology stakeholders
• Experience applying enterprise-authorized AI capabilities with validation and data sensitivity awareness
• Ability to evaluate and integrate AI-enabled capabilities into enterprise-grade architectures with security/auditability
