Lead - Solution Engineer

In this role you guide and support the sales process as the technical lead for mid-market and enterprise opportunities. You articulate Freshworks’ value, architect solutions, and lead thought leadership for both business and technical audiences. You will deliver tailored product demos and manage proofs of concept while aligning customer requirements with product capabilities. You collaborate across sales, product, and services to drive deals and promote a customer-focused solution approach. This is a chance to shape how customers experience Freshworks’ solutions at scale.

• Convert prospects to customers with regional sales teams
• Deliver bespoke technical demos at meetings, webinars, and events
• Present product messaging, run proofs of concept, and respond to RFPs
• Analyze customer requirements and interactions with customer infrastructure
• Gather and convey customer needs to product management
• Advocate for Freshworks products to prospects, customers, and partners
• Collaborate with sales, product, and client services to execute sales strategy
• Train sales teams on products, features, and technical aspects

• 5+ years in a similar technical solution engineering role, preferably in ITIL/ITSM or SaaS/software products
• Experience in SaaS/technology product environments and ITSM/ITIL methodologies with cloud-based infrastructure
• Excellent senior stakeholder and internal communication skills, including CxO engagement
• Experience handling complex Mid-Market and Enterprise sales cycles
• Strong presentation, listening, and client-support orientation
• High initiative, execution focus, and ability to thrive in a high-energy team
