Overview

In this Lead SRE role, you will guide global Google Cloud production reliability within JPMorgan Chase’s Infrastructure Platform. You’ll drive SRE frameworks to achieve top-tier SLOs and lead cross-functional teams in incident triage, post-incident analyses, and AI‑assisted operations. You’ll shape documentation, governance, and cost management while promoting a DevOps-driven, elastic service model. This is a mission‑critical position at scale, leveraging AI to improve resiliency and security.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and implement SRE frameworks for global Google Cloud environments to ensure high SLOs
  • Oversee incident triage, troubleshooting, and post-incident analysis with enterprise AI capabilities
  • Provide technical supervision and problem resolution for engineering activities
  • Promote DevOps practices to automate and elastify services across platforms
  • Develop and improve engineering documentation and knowledge sharing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage budgets and financial controls
  • Ensure governance, compliance, and cost management within Google Cloud environments
  • Evaluate AI-assisted operational recommendations for safety, accuracy, and security
  • Support monitoring, deployment, and operations using cloud-native tools
  • Maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders to achieve common goals
Key requirements
  • Google and Azure cloud expertise in production environments
  • Strong understanding of containers (Docker, Kubernetes, GKE, HELM)
  • Programming in Python, shell scripting, or Go; good REST API knowledge
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based monitoring and operations tools (Google Observability, Azure Monitor, Data Dog, Prometheus, Splunk, Elasticsearch, Grafana)
  • Experience using enterprise-authorized AI to improve SRE workflows with validation and data sensitivity awareness
  • Understanding of Google Cloud governance, compliance, and cost management
  • Knowledge of modern development tools (Agile, CI/CD, Git, Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, Jenkins)
  • Google Cloud certification or equivalent public cloud experience
  • Familiarity with Agentic AI SDKs and GitHub Copilot skills
