Overview
In this role you lead the architecture and modernization of distributed, cloud-native platforms in a payments/remittance context. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional leads to craft cohesive architectures and drive tech strategy. You will shape an agentic AI-enabled operating model and modernize FX, Payments, and Core Banking systems at scale. This is a hands-on leadership role in a growth‑stage, mission‑driven tech company with a strong impact mandate.

- Design and implement cloud-native architectures supporting agentic AI capabilities
- Promote best practices in TDD, CI/CD, DevOps, SecOps and SRE
- Drive adoption of agentic AI tools and human‑in‑the‑loop processes
- Provide technical leadership and domain expertise to stakeholders
- Experience architecting and leading modernisation of Payments, FX or Core Banking platforms
- Experience designing software for large-scale distributed systems in the cloud
- Strong knowledge of microservices, API design and enterprise integration
- Hands-on understanding of AWS cloud architecture
- Understanding of agentic AI development tools and integration into business processes
- Solid grasp of TDD, CI/CD, DevOps, SecOps, SRE
- Excellent collaboration, communication and technical leadership skills
