Lead Transformer Engineer & Technical Authority

SSEN Transmission is seeking a Lead Principal Engineer – Transformers based in Scotland, with 50% office presence in Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen or Inverness. You will lead transformer/wound plant SME peers and act as Technical Authority, shaping specifications and ensuring robust designs for the Transmission network.

You will engage with industry bodies, drive standardisation, and collaborate with project teams to deliver safe, compliant, and innovative solutions in a high‑impact role.
