Base Salary: $120,000 – $140,000

What We’re Looking For

• 3–10 years of management experience in billing at a large law firm
• Expertise in complex fee arrangements and billing processes
• Experience with Aderant (a plus, not required)
• Strong people management skills: coaching, staff development
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment - personality fit is key

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Billing team, overseeing personnel, workflow, and performance management
• Monitor billing processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with policies
• Partner with attorneys and staff to design invoicing that meets client needs
• Provide reporting and billing updates to firm leadership
• Drive process improvements and implement billing solutions using legal billing applications
• Recruit, mentor, and develop staff while fostering a positive team culture

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent combination of training and experience)
• Strong project management, communication, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with electronic billing systems a plus
