Level Three IT Systems Analyst

Level Three IT support meets advanced troubleshooting in this System Analyst position supporting Royal Canadian Navy systems. The role serves mission-critical environments.

At Weir Marine Engineering, the System Analyst supports Department of National Defence clients through IT support and independent verification. You will work within the In-Service Support Team and Information and Communication Systems Section. The work spans Microsoft products, Linux distributions, enterprise infrastructure, and interconnected operational environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Level Three support across complex enterprise IT environments
• Perform incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
• Support servers, workstations, infrastructure, and virtual workloads
• Monitor system performance and complete maintenance activities
• Coordinate stakeholders while identifying and resolving technical issues

Requirements:

• Experience supporting complex enterprise IT environments at Level Three
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft products and Linux distributions
• Experience with hypervisors, networking equipment, and storage devices
• Critical thinking, analytical, written communication, and collaboration skills
• Canadian citizenship and ten years residing in Canada
