In this role you will design and develop Java Enterprise applications with a focus on Liferay portals, contributing to client projects from Surrey. Responsibilities- Design and develop Java Enterprise applications (Ports and portals) with Liferay and WebSphere Portal
- Lead and coordinate project teams of varying sizes to deliver on schedule
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates
- Apply Agile methodologies to project delivery and quality assurance
- Ensure solutions meet quality standards and technical requirements
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to manage expectations
- 2–5 years of solid Java development experience (J2EE)
- Experience designing and developing Java Enterprise Portals (Liferay, WebSphere Portal)
- Proven ability to lead teams and deliver projects on or before deadlines
- Strong communication skills with clients and team members
