- Deep knowledge of Linux and systems
- Fluent on the command line and shell scripting
- Strong grasp of programming concepts in C, sockets, and virtual memory
- Ability to analyze technical problems clearly and concisely
- Understanding of networking protocols
- Proficient with debugging tools: gdb, perf, DTrace, SystemTap
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Experience with any programming language (Go, Python, Rust, Julia, Java, C++, Scala, Haskell or similar)
