In this role you lead a focused Linux engineering team within a high-velocity trading environment. You will own and evolve critical infrastructure services spanning IaaS, build and deployment, and trading compute, storage, and networks. You drive automation to reduce errors and enable fast, reliable operations. You work closely with a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning, in a hybrid London-based setting with strong institutional backing. - Lead a small team overseeing IaaS, Build & Deploy, and trading compute infrastructure
- Manage and improve critical infrastructure services for storage and networks
- Design and implement automation to minimize human error
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research and trading workloads
- Support hybrid working models and scalable deployment environments
- Mentor engineers and drive best practices in reliability and performance
- Management experience
- Hands-on Linux/Unix administration (RHEL/CentOS/OEL)
- Infrastructure automation experience (Chef, Puppet, Ansible)
- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting
- Storage knowledge and protocols (NFS, GPFS a plus)
- CI/CD tooling experience (Git, Bamboo, Gitlab, Jenkins)
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline or related area
