Responsibilities- Provide strong leadership and guidance to a growing team of Linux Engineers (managers and ICs)
- Maintain a hands-on contribution style while transitioning into management
- Ensure continuous maintenance and improvement of the platform powering production trading systems
- Support team members to help them thrive and excel
- Foster firm-wide partnerships and a collaborative environment
- Analyze and resolve technical challenges across OS fundamentals and systems programming
- Lead large-scale coordination to improve service delivery and team productivity
- Bachelor in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
- Strong programming experience and willingness to learn a new language
- Proven experience in leading and supporting individuals and teams
- Ability to build partnerships across the organization
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills (technical, process, people)
- In-depth knowledge of operating system fundamentals, especially Linux
- Proficiency in Unix command line and shell scripting
- Practical experience with modern Linux systems and systems programming concepts
