In this role you will own and maintain the Linux-based trading infrastructure, focusing on reliability and performance for global markets. You will work with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks, manage incidents, and drive automation and resilience. - Own, maintain and support trading system components
- Identify and mitigate risks to service delivery; resolve issues proactively
- Lead incident and problem management with root-cause analysis
- Coordinate parties during client-facing outages and escalate complex issues
- Conduct resiliency testing and ensure application redundancy and failover
- Real-time system monitoring across diverse tools
- Capacity planning and assessment
- Application maintenance including change, release management, patches
- Define and lead projects to improve ops efficiency and automation
- Maintain runbooks and key operational documentation
- 5+ years as a System Administrator (Redhat & Ubuntu)
- Solid understanding of volume management and RAID
- Storage experience (Pure/NetApp/EMC) is a plus
- Knowledge of cloud services (Google and/or AWS)
- Experience with multi-vendor cloud management tools is a plus
- Scripting/Programming skills in any language
- Experience with host management frameworks (Ansible or Puppet) is a plus
- Experience with vulnerability scanning reports and patch deployment
- Experience with PAM (Privileged Access Management) tools
- Knowledge of Git
- Coordination and stakeholder management during outages
- Strong incident management and problem-solving mindset
- Documentation and runbook maintenance
- Redhat and Ubuntu system administration
- Storage systems (Pure, NetApp, EMC)
- Cloud platforms: Google Cloud, AWS
