Overview

In this role you will provide high-level technical support for mission-critical trading infrastructure at a leading fintech client. You will join a fast-paced, entrepreneurial support team and work with sales and engineering to resolve server and network issues. You will automate deployments, monitor globally distributed datacentre infrastructure, and improve support policies. You help prevent issues with proactive analysis of failures, shaping reliable, scalable trading systems.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to infrastructure and network inquiries from clients
  • Support customers and resolve server and network issues
  • Improve documentation of support policies and procedures
  • Analyse server failures and implement preventative solutions
  • Automate server deployment
  • Deploy, monitor and maintain globally distributed datacentre infrastructure
Key requirements
  • STEM Degree
  • 2+ years’ experience supporting mission critical infrastructure
  • Red Hat Linux Certification or equivalent
  • Ansible
  • Hardware experience (setup and maintenance)
  • AWS
  • Understanding of DevOps and automation
  • Some networking experience
