Linux Jump Host Administrator

Linux administration and compliance define this Toronto-based RDL Jump Host Administrator role supporting secure, isolated laboratory networks worldwide.

Celestica seeks an experienced administrator to manage system security, access control, and audit readiness across global HPS Design Centers. The role centers on Rocky Linux, Ubuntu, CentOS, SSH, PAM, and decentralized authentication. You will support air-gapped environments without Active Directory or domain joins, while maintaining export-control acceptance gates and tamper-proof logging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy Linux jump host virtual machines on VMware or Hyper-V
• Apply CIS hardening benchmarks and maintain secure operating systems
• Configure shell banners, acceptance gates, and audit logging
• Manage local accounts, RBAC, SSH keys, and session controls
• Support Zscaler and CyberArk access hand-offs

Requirements:

• Four-plus years of Linux system administration experience
• Fourteen-plus years of overall work experience
• Expertise with Bash, Python, PAM, SSH, and package management
• Experience engineering Rsyslog, Journald, or structured audit trails
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience
