You’ll work with a scientific, fast-moving team to diagnose issues, implement improvements, and plan new systems within a formal change-control framework. - Maintain and troubleshoot Linux and Windows systems and networks to ensure uptime and security
- Investigate issues, propose and implement improvements, and plan new system deployments
- Provide end-user support and operate within change-control processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business needs and system reliability
- Work independently when needed, following established procedures and security policies
- Proficient Systems Administrator with strong problem-solving skills
- Good communicator and team player
- Experience with Linux (RedHat/CentOS) and Windows administration
- Familiarity with Puppet/Ansible, Satellite/Katello, Nagios or other network monitoring
- Experience with Apache/OpenSSL, Bash/Python, and OpenLDAP
- Knowledge of virtualization (VMware ESX/VirtualCenter) and Citrix
- Networking knowledge: TCP/IP, VPNs, Cisco IOS, VLANs, Juniper Junos, storage solutions (NetApp/HPE)
