Linux Systems Administrator – Docker

In this role you will maintain and improve the client’s infrastructure within a fast-moving, innovative startup. You’ll ensure security, resilience, and reliable backups while monitoring server health and supporting data requests from the business. You’ll explore and prototype new technologies to influence the architecture and promote open-source solutions. • Maintain and improve infrastructure

• 1 year of commercial Linux systems administration experience
• Excellent knowledge of Linux systems administration
• Solid understanding of security principles including iptables
• Some knowledge of network administration, routing, DNS
• Experience with Docker/Docker Swarm, Consul and cluster orchestration
• Good knowledge of server health and log monitoring tools
• Scripting and automation experience (e.g., Bash, Ansible)
