Linux Systems Administrator Engineer

Manage enterprise Linux, Docker, and cloud infrastructure onsite at Digital Extremes’ London, Ontario studio. Support high availability and reliable operations.

Digital Extremes seeks a Linux Systems Administrator with five-plus years of experience in high-demand production or studio environments. You will co-own corporate and game servers while working with Systems Analysts and Administrators. The position emphasizes Proxmox VE, Ceph, Veeam, monitoring, and infrastructure modernization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy, optimize, troubleshoot, and maintain Linux servers
• Administer Proxmox VE and Ceph storage clusters
• Validate backups and test disaster recovery restores
• Maintain monitoring stacks and respond to alerts
• Execute operating system and hardware upgrades

Requirements:

• Five-plus years administering Linux systems
• Enterprise Linux, Docker, Proxmox VE, and Ceph experience
• Veeam backup infrastructure management experience
• Shell or Python scripting and networking familiarity
• Availability for required out-of-hours on-call duties
