Overview
In this role you will support a UK-based, high-frequency trading infrastructure expanding over the next 6–12 months. You’ll work within a small, cross-functional team to maintain hardware, networking, and software build pipelines that enable ultra-low latency trading. You’ll shape automation and tooling to scale operations for a high-performance environment. This is a hands-on, technically sharp role with mentoring and clear potential for career growth in a fast-paced culture.

- Support and scale the UK infrastructure for low-latency trading systems
- Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve complex hardware, network, and in-house software issues
- Manage existing hardware/software footprint and help specify/procure new systems
- Develop tooling and automation to improve operational efficiency
- Participate in software build, deployment, and maintenance processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers and traders
- Understand and implement core networking concepts and data-centre architecture
- Support virtualization and hardware/networking components as part of the HPC stack
- BA degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Science or similar technical field
- Strong understanding of Linux
- Python proficiency
- Operations experience
- Ability to triage and troubleshoot complex network and systems issues from hardware to software
- Experience managing hardware/software footprints and procurement
- Development of tooling and automation
- Good understanding of TCP and LAN/WAN networking and data-centre architecture
