Linux Systems Engineer – Trading systems

In this role you will support mission-critical trading infrastructure for a leading fintech client. You will work within a dedicated support team, collaborating with sales and engineering to maintain high-availability systems. You will diagnose, remedy, and automate infrastructure issues across global data centers, contributing to a secure, scalable trading environment. • Respond to infrastructure and network inquiries from clients
• Troubleshoot and resolve server issues and network connectivity for customers
• Improve documentation of support policies and procedures
• Analyze server failures and implement preventative solutions
• Automate server deployment
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain globally distributed datacentre infrastructure

• STEM Degree (minimum)
• 1+ years’ experience supporting mission critical infrastructure
• Red Hat Linux Certification or equivalent
• AWS
• Ansible
• Hardware experience including setup and maintenance
• Some networking experience
• Virtualisation
