We are currently searching for an experienced

Paralegal

for our

Pittsburgh, PA

office. This individual will support members of the Firm’s

Real Estate Practice Group

of the FIBRE Section and will be responsible for the organization and management of real estate transactions from inception to closing.
Collaborate with attorneys in the representation of purchasers/ borrowers, sellers, developers and other clients with real estate matters handled by the firm’s attorneys.
Order title searches and commitments, review and provide analysis of same.
Interface with the title company on commitments and policies.
Order surveys, review and provide analysis of same.
Interface with the surveyor on draft and final surveys.
Document preparation, including deeds, releases, closing affidavits, and other real estate documents.
Draft title objection letters.
Draft closing instruction letters.
Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations affecting the closing of real estate transactions.
Communicate with clients during the course of the transaction, coordinate closing requirements and delivery of applicable transaction documents.
Archive all documents and emails in the document management system using the naming protocol established by the supervising attorney.
Minimum 8 years of prior law firm experience in commercial real estate leasing and transactions.
A Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft 2010 applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).
Ability to work overtime if required.
